About Kinfolk Bloom
About
A creative network should make something more possible.
Kinfolk Bloom is a Springfield-based creative community amplifying Black and Afro-Latin artists, makers, storytellers, and creative voices, with intentional space for LGBTQ+ creatives.
Why It Exists / 001
Visibility matters. Access matters. Connection matters.
Kinfolk Bloom was created to make more room for people whose work, ideas, and stories deserve to be seen — especially creatives building outside traditional industries, institutions, and networks.
The goal is not to become another repost page. The work is to build useful connective tissue: artist visibility, credible opportunities, collaborations, community learning, and eventually artist-led programming that gives something back.
What We’re Building / 002
02 / CONNECT
Help creatives find one another.
A growing network for collaborators, resource sharing, relationships, and cross-disciplinary creative community.
03 / CREATE ACCESS
Help artists find the next door.
Opportunities, practical information, and community learning that make participation in creative spaces more possible.
Where It Starts / 003
Springfield first. Miami Valley next. Ohio over time.
Kinfolk Bloom begins locally because creative community gets stronger when people can actually find one another. The long-term vision is broader, but the roots stay clear.
